I just got an email from the NCC administration that all day classes today--February 14---are canceled. Even though the MW 101 section begins at 5:00 pm, it's considered a day class, so you're all free.

On a more serious note, I will posting the first essay assignment here later today or tomorrow. I hope students have a chance to read it and start thinking and maybe even asking questions over in the discussion area.
Don't worry about the due date, we'll sort that out when we're next in class February 26th.
